AC/DC Pulling The Plug?

Rock and roll says farewell to one of the most influential bands to emerge from the early 70's. Australian legends AC/DC have come to the heavy conclusion to call it  quits due to guitarist Malcolm Young becoming seriously ill. It has been reported that Young has been suffering from a blood clot in the brain after a previous stroke, which has resulted in his ability to play guitar to diminish.
Fans of the band have been anxiously waiting to hear if rumours of retirement are true or not, Brian Johnson (singer of the group) revealed to the press earlier this week that the band plan on hitting studio next month to "pick up guitars and have a plonk" allowing Malcolm to take a break and rest after the recent traumas.
It should be noted though that direct reasons for Malcolm's illness have not been confirmed, however Mark Gable, close friend to the band, has been quoted saying “It's not just that he is unwell, it's that it is quite serious. It will constitute that he definitely won't be able to perform live," he said. “He will probably not be able to record.” leaving fans heartbroken to see such a key figure in their lives so fragile.

Are hearts go out to the band and Malcolm's family, wishing him all the best towards his recovery.
